Crafty Creations: Diaper Cake

Here is my first attempt at making a diaper cake. Jason's co-worker/friend, Pam, recently had a baby boy and I wanted to do something fun for a baby gift. I bought a 31 count package of diapers and rolled them up to form the two layers. The next step was to add the grosgrain ribbon and top off the cake with a cute little giraffe.

Giraffes are her favorite animal.

There are definately more elaborate diaper cakes out there. This cake is very simple but I am happy with how it turned out on my first try. To all my friends out there who will be mom's someday, let this be a clue as to what you will be getting from me! Besides, what new mom dosen't need an endless supply of diapers?
